Are you a passionate and driven Social Work Team Manager looking to build on your leadership career in a progressive, relationship-based social work service?
Wandsworth's newly formed Family Help Service is designed to offer consistent, high-quality support to children and families through strong multi-agency collaboration. Grounded in the Family Safeguarding model, we provide excellent working conditions for practitioners and leaders to deliver effective, compassionate support to those who need it most.
As Team Manager, you'll lead a stable and skilled team of Social Workers within a service rooted in systemic, evidence-based practice. Your team will work with children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, and care proceedings frameworks to co-produce assessments and plans. You will be central in driving high standards of practice while maintaining a strong focus on relationships, rights, and resilience.
You'll also benefit from direct access to co-located professionals in adult mental health, domestic abuse, substance misuse, family therapy, and CAMHS, supporting integrated working and child-centred outcomes.
What we're looking for:
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration and completion of ASYE
Proven leadership and management experience
Ability to deliver child-focused, evidence-based practice
Strong understanding of statutory frameworks, legislation, and multi-agency collaboration
A motivational leader who inspires high-quality social work practice
