👧 Team Manager - Kinship Team (Children's Services)
📍 Location: Cheshire
🕘 Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
💷 Pay Rate: Up to £45 per hour (Umbrella)
🌟 About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Kinship Team within Children's Services in Cheshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated manager with a strong background in kinship care to lead a passionate team supporting children and families.
💼 Key Responsibilities
👥 Lead and manage the Kinship Team, providing supervision, guidance, and support to staff.
📝 Ensure quality assurance of reviews, SGOs (Special Guardianship Orders), and kinship assessments.
⚖️ Ensure compliance with Regulation 24 procedures and statutory requirements.
💡 Promote best practice, continuous improvement, and positive outcomes for children.
🤝 Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality services.
✅ Essential Requirements
✔️ Proven experience as a Team Manager within Children's Social Care or a Kinship setting.
✔️ Strong understanding of Regulation 24, SGOs, and Kinship assessments.
✔️ Experience in supervising and developing staff.
✔️ Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
