Are you a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant with Team Teach training?
Tradewind Recruitment are in partnership with a supportive special school in Solihull, dedicated to pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). We're looking for a committed member of staff who is Team Teach trained to join their friendly team!
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide tailored support to pupils with a wide range of complex needs.
Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver engaging, accessible learning experiences.
Use your Team Teach training to support pupils positively, safely, and effectively.
Assist with personal care and mobility where required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
Help foster a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Team Teach trained and confident in using de-escalation and positive behaviour support strategies.
Experienced in working with pupils with SLD and/or PMLD (school or care setting experience welcome).
Patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
Able to work collaboratively as part of a committed team.
