You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Managing the onboarding and training process for food technical teams, ensuring seamless adoption across manufacturing sites and supply chains
* Building strong, trusted relationships with technical teams to support their ongoing journey
* Presenting technical data persuasively to customers and at industry conferences
* Running customer meetings, addressing objections, and building conviction in new methods
* Supporting customer site visits across the UK and calls with international customers
* Helping improve technical processes, providing insight into areas such as shelf-life testing, microbial spoilage, and regulatory compliance
* Writing thought-leadership articles and technical insights for trade press and internal platforms
What’s required?
* 5–10 years’ experience in food manufacturing or retail within a technical or NPD role (meat, fish, poultry, or meals experience ideal)
* Strong understanding of food science, shelf-life testing, and microbial spoilage
* Knowledge of retailer codes of practice, regulations, and testing methods
* Desire to work in a customer-facing role, with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
* Ability to confidently run meetings, handle objections, and present technical data clearly
* Strong communication and writing skills, able to produce persuasive and thought-leading content
* Interest in emerging technologies, sensors, and AI applications within food
