Senior Technical Accreditation Manager
Location: Remote (UK-based) | Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Travel: UK

🔍 About the Role
As Senior Technical Accreditation Manager, you’ll lead technical integrity across global operations, ensuring conformity with ISO/IEC 17021 and associated IAF mandatory documents. You’ll act as a key liaison with regulators, drive continual improvement, and provide technical leadership across new product development, transitions, and scope extensions.
🧭 Key Responsibilities
* Lead internal audits across UK and international locations
* Manage responses to external audit findings via UKAS and other portals
* Facilitate and technically review external witnessed audits
* Oversee scope extensions, scheme development, and accreditation transitions
* Maintain and evolve the global management system
* Provide technical oversight of document control and performance evaluation
* Act as primary contact for regulators and represent the business at conferences
* Manage the appeals process and contribute to strategic meetings
* Deliver analytical reports and support budgeting for regulatory activities
* Champion process improvement and provide ad hoc technical support
✅ Essential Criteria
* Proven experience in accredited certification (operational + regulatory)
* QMS Lead Auditor status (IRCA or equivalent)
* Strong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021 and IAF MDs
* Familiarity with ISO 27006, ISO 17020, and ISO 14065
* Experience in the TIC industry and working to KPIs/SLAs
* Project management and risk assessment expertise
* Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK
* Willingness to travel globally

* Understanding of international accreditation frameworks (IAF, regional groups)
* Experience delivering presentations at business forums
