Technical Administrator
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Hours: 8.45am - 5.15pm, Monday to Friday (with some flexibility)
Salary: £28,000-£35,000 DOE

The Role
We're seeking a proactive Technical Administrator to join our client's innovative team, where you'll play a key role in supporting the development of new products and solutions. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Analytical Support: Manage documentation, coordinate workstreams, and support data analysis to streamline innovation processes.
Trial Coordination: Schedule and prepare for trials, liaise with internal teams, and occasionally attend trials outside core hours.
Sample Management: Collect, label, and record samples; maintain a trial library and ensure safe, organised storage.
Meeting & Procurement Support: Organise meetings, book rooms and refreshments, and liaise with Procurement to source trial materials.
Testing & Data Analysis: Conduct low-level testing and accurately record and analyse results.
Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain safety documentation, ensure safe handling and storage of materials, and promote safe working practices.
Quality & Environmental Standards: Support sustainable sourcing, reduce waste, and ensure safe disposal of materials in line with regulations and internal standards.What We're Looking For
A degree in Maths or Science, or relevant experience in a technical, quality, or research-focused role.
Strong organisational skills and a calm, logical approach to work.
Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information clearly.
Comfortable working across departments and adapting communication style.
Willingness to travel to suppliers, testing facilities, and customer sites as needed.How to Apply
