Job Description
Technical Author – Industrial Machinery
Kettering – 6-Month Contract (On-site)
Mon–Fri – 40 hrs/week
Outside IR35 – £45–£50ph
ATA Recruitment are working with a leading machinery manufacturer who require a Technical Author to support the creation and update of technical documentation for their equipment.

Key responsibilities:
Creating and editing technical manuals for complex mechanical systems
Liaising with engineering teams to gather technical info
Working with hydraulics, automation systems, and industrial components
Ensuring documentation meets safety and compliance standards
You will need:
Strong mechanical/engineering background
Knowledge of hydraulics, automation & industrial switches
Previous experience writing technical documentation
On-site availability (no remote working)
The benefits:

£45–£55 per hour
