Job Role
To maximize opportunities for technical knowledge development across the organization and collaborate with senior leadership to drive business growth and service enhancements.
Key responsibilities
Process London Market Insurance underwriting data following established procedural guides.
Analyse technical data and calculate transactions, including limits, premiums, and deductions.
Address technical queries within the team/business, ensuring client communications are accurate and necessary.
Identify skills gaps and design/deliver inclusive training programs, offering guidance and feedback.
Organize and manage documentation for data processing, providing workflow prioritization.
Produce and review internal and external (client) reports.
Recommend and document process improvements, ensuring clear communication to all stakeholders.
Participate in client governance meetings, offering solutions to technical challenges.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement focused on enhancing the customer experience.
Develop and document technical solutions for new clients/services from implementation to final approval.
Promote company services and contribute to RFP/Proposal/CRC processes.
Support the onboarding of new clients/services.
Act as a technical lead on company projects, ensuring knowledge transfer and staff training.
Assist in analysing market initiatives and their impact on the business.
Personal Skills
Extensive knowledge of insurance market structures, practices, and regulations.
Ability to articulate and promote the company’s services.
Experience with direct and reinsurance placements.
Proficiency in interpreting insurance documentation and data.
Strong understanding of relevant classes of business and ability to engage with client operations, underwriting, and leadership teams.
Awareness of market initiatives and their impact on the company.
Knowledge of resource planning and utilization.
Understanding of financial pricing models and CRC processes.
ACII qualification or relevant degree preferred.
