Technical Engagement Manager-£125,000-Hybrid
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Client Engagement Leader with deep expertise in Banking and Data Management to drive successful delivery of complex data-driven initiatives for our financial services clients. In this client-facing leadership role, you will be responsible for managing strategic engagements end-to-end-ensuring delivery excellence, fostering executive relationships, driving business growth, and enabling high-performing global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Client-Facing Leadership & Growth:
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify opportunities for strategic growth.
Translate business goals into actionable data and digital initiatives that deliver measurable value.
Delivery Oversight & Governance:
Lead the successful execution of large-scale data management, BI/DW, and analytics engagements in the banking sector.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, aligned with client expectations and strategic objectives.
Drive program governance, risk mitigation, and adherence to Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
Team Enablement & Communication:
Manage and mentor cross-functional, global delivery teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
Facilitate clear and consistent communication across client stakeholders, delivery teams, and internal leadership.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Financial Services/Banking, with a focus on Data Management, Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Warehousing (DW).
Proven track record of leading complex client engagements and managing multi-million-dollar programs.
Expertise in Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Experience with Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM)
Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Terraform, Unity Catalog, or similar technologies.
Preferred Skills:
Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem solving and delivery.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
Prior consulting experience in a client-facing role highly desirable.
