The role of the Technical Estimator – Timber Windows will involve:
* Sales Estimator role dealing with a high end manufactured range of windows
* Liaising with main contractors, house builders and developers for new build and commercial projects
* Will be responsible for taking enquiries from clients over the phone and email
* Analyse drawings and specifications to gain a full understanding of projects
* Writing up quotes on the back of enquiries and talking through the quote with the client
* Create supporting CAD drawings and documentation for approval and manufacture
* Build and develop relationships with clients throughout the process to encourage repeat business
* Dealing with projects ranging in value from £5,000 - £1,000,000
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Estimator – Timber Windows with:
* Must have sales, estimating, order processing or design experience within the fenestration market sector
* Highly advantageous if you have experience dealing with timber windows and doors
* Ideally will have AutoCAD experience
* Ideally will have experience with Klaes software
* Must have a good understanding of technical drawings and building regulations
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to build and develop relationships
* Wanting to forge a career
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
* Driven, hungry, ambitious and enthusiastic
