Residential Technical Coordinator / Technical Manager

Our client, a well-established independent housebuilder based in Hampshire, is looking to appoint a Residential Technical professional to support the design and delivery of their growing portfolio of developments.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the technical process from planning through to completion—ensuring developments are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  * Managing the technical design process across multiple residential schemes

  * Coordinating external consultants (architects, engineers, utilities, etc.)

  * Reviewing drawings and ensuring compliance with planning, building regulations, and warranty provider requirements

  * Resolving technical and design issues throughout the build process

  * Supporting site teams with practical, solutions-focused advice

  * Driving programmes forward and ensuring key deliverables are met

About You

  * Experience in a technical role within residential development or housebuilding

  * Strong understanding of UK building regulations and construction processes

  * Able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively

  * Detail-oriented, organised, and commercially aware

  * Proactive, hands-on, and confident in problem-solving
