Technical Product Development SME

11-month contract

Based in West Midlands

£33.88 per hour (Inside IR35)

About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in West Midlands, who are looking for a Technical Product Development SME to join their team.

Job Description

As Technical Product Development SME, your main responsibilities will include:

Vehicle‑level testing, across multiple facilities
Evaluate system & vehicle performance
Fault identification & resolution
Develop & maintain DVP's
Custodianship of test assets 

Experience Required:

Must have a valid UK driving licence
Vehicle‑level evaluation, system performance analysis, and diagnostic investigation
Testing across multiple facilities (proving grounds, labs, workshops)
High level analytical and data interpretation skills
Automotive systems, instrumentation, diagnostics, and test methodologies
