Working across our driving and industrial divisions, you will be responsible for understanding our clients' needs, strategising solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of our recruitment services. Other responsibilities you can expect as a Technical Recruitment Consultant include:
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients
Serving as a point of contact for client requirements, concerns, and escalations
Understanding client objectives, working with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
Identifying opportunities for account expansion and the up-selling of additional services
Developing account plans, outlining strategic goals and objectives
Making calls to connect with contacts and generate new business leads
Interviewing jobseekers to continuously enhance our database of candidates
Identifying matches between jobs and potential candidates
Screening and shortlisting candidates for their recruiting clients or their own organisation
Operating our bespoke recruitment software
Managing job applications as well as job boards and adverts on local and national websites to generate applicant attractionTo be successful within this recruitment role, you will have proven previous experience with a recruitment profession - preferably within the engineering or construction sector. Combined with the following skills, traits, and experience:
A strong understanding of recruitment and client needs
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills - with previous sales experience
A demonstrated ability to drive results and exceed targets
Knowledge of skilled trades
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own work loadPlease Note - Candidates must be flexible to work variable hours due to key client requirements, including early morning starts, and evening client emergency cover when required. Therefore, you must have a full UK driving license.
