Job Description
I’m recruiting a Technical Representative - Military Vehicle Systems for a leading UK defence manufacturing organisation based in Coventry, West Midlands.
Due to continued and significant growth my client is recruiting a Technical Representative to provide in-field support across the UK, and occasionally abroad, for the MoD and key stakeholders. You will be the technical authority representing my client and you’ll play a key role in supporting critical MoD contracts on defence vehicles to include Foxhound, Mastiff, Ridgback and Jackal.
Key responsibilities and tasks will include:
* Conduct expert technical investigations and provide specialist advice and support
* Analyse root causes of equipment failures and malfunctions
* Prepare clear, detailed damage reports for internal and Authority use
* Capture and report on lessons identified to inform continuous improvement
* Collect and relay feedback from users and maintainers to support product development
* Provide informed recommendations for Post Design Services (PDS) enhancements
Ideally, we’re seeking individuals with the following skills and experience:
* Experience of maintenance of Protected Mobility Platforms gained as REME Class 1 Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent
* Knowledge of defence platforms to include Mastiff, Ridgback, Foxhound, Wolfhound, Jackal, etc.
* An appropriate Certification as Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent
* Full UK drivers’ licence
* Proficient using MS office
