Technical Sales Administrator
Location: Wokingham (Office-based)
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time, Mon - Fri
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation for a Technical Sales Administrator to join their team in Wokingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills, technical curiosity, and a proactive mindset to play a key role in supporting both new and existing clients.
This office-based role is centred on providing excellent customer service by handling sales and technical enquiries, processing quotations and orders, and liaising with other departments to ensure the best possible client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor the shared sales inbox, responding to customer queries promptly and accurately.
Provide detailed technical responses and prepare quotations.
Answer incoming sales calls in a professional, confident manner.
Accurately process customer orders in a timely way.
Spot potential opportunities and pass them on to the sales team.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to provide updates and solutions to clients.
Attend regular technical training sessions to support knowledge development.
What We’re Looking For
Strong customer relationship skills and a genuine enjoyment of client interaction.
Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
Willingness and aptitude to learn complex customer requirements and technical details.
Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task effectively.
Proactive, flexible, and positive attitude to work.
Strong MS Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience using ERP systems (desirable).
Ability to understand technical drawings at a basic level (advantageous).
Training & Development
Full in-house product training.
Training on EFACS MRP System.
Ongoing support to build technical knowledge of moving mechanical parts and relevant industry standards.
