The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business within the commercial vehicle sector for an experienced Technical Sales Executive to drive truck parts sales and develop customer relationships across a designated territory.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional with experience in commercial vehicle parts, aftermarket sales, motor factors, or the wider transport industry. You'll join a successful team with a strong reputation for customer service and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow sales of truck and commercial vehicle parts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into sales.
Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Provide product advice and technical support where required.
Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive excellent service.
Monitor market activity and identify opportunities for business growth.
Achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets.About You

Essential

Previous experience in a sales role within truck parts, commercial vehicle parts, automotive aftermarket, or a related industry.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Proven ability to generate and grow sales.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of the HGV truck industry is essential within a technical discipline would be highly advantageous
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Full UK driving licence.Desirable

Knowledge of commercial vehicles, HGVs, trailers, or fleet operations.
Experience using CRM systems.
Existing customer contacts within the transport, haulage, or commercial vehicle sector.Personal Attributes
