These include Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Subsea, and General Engineering across the UK. Their offerings include: * Carbide & Precision Cutting Tools * Machine Tool Spares * Sub-contract Machining Solutions Due to continued growth and demand, they are seeking a highly driven Technical Sales Manager to join their expanding team. The Role As Technical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and growing the company’s client base across Cornwall and Devon. You will be responsible for building long-term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering technical sales solutions that align with customer needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded sales professional to join a thriving company with ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities * Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities across the territory * Proactively identify and pursue new business within target sectors * Provide expert advice and technical support to customers on cutting tool applications * Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business * Deliver sales presentations, quotes, and proposals tailored to customer requirements * Accurately report sales activity, forecasts, and performance to the Board of Directors * Stay up-to-date on industry developments and competitor activity * Travel regularly throughout the assigned region (company car provided) Key Requirements * Minimum 4 years’ proven success in a sales role within the Cutting Tools or Precision Engineering industry * Strong technical background (engineering qualification desirable) * Demonstrated ability in business development and territory growth * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills * Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently * Strong organisational and reporting skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools This role offers a competitive base salary with attractive bonus potential, a company car, and the opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team in a key commercial role
