Visum Recruitment has the pleasure of representing our client, an Engineering company who are on the lookout for a Technical Sales Manager to cover nationally.
The ideal candidate will be based in or around the Midlands and will have sound knowledge of conveyer systems across multiple industries. We are looking for someone with proven capabilities in mechanical engineering either through an engineering degree, apprenticeship or being qualified by their experiences to date
Technical Sales Manager Job Overview
* Possess a deep understanding of the conveyor/automation industry and our products and services.
* Essential to know how different types of conveyors work and, to a basic extent, diagnose issues and recommend solutions.
* Be proactive in identifying and developing new opportunities, industries and customers to expand the company’s customer database.
* Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals, and ensure efficient execution of the sales process.
* Understand typical conveyor application requirements across multiple target industries and put together and present proposals that are both technical and commercial.
Technical Sales Manager Job Requirements
* Proven capabilities in in Mechanical Engineering
* 10+ years working in the conveyor industry
* Industrial Equipment experience
* Full UK drivers' licence
Hydraulic Engineer Salary & Benefits
* Competitive salary between £60,000 - £70,000, depending on experience
