Job Description

Are you a commercially driven professional with deep technical knowledge of warden call systems, Technology Enabled Care (TECs), and life safety solutions? Do you have the skills to engage with housing, care, and local authority clients and deliver solutions that protect and empower vulnerable residents? We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing, specialist provider of compliance and life safety services for a Technical Sales Manager to take the lead in expanding their presence in the Warden Call and TECs space. Your Role and Purpose As a Technical Sales Manager, you’ll drive the growth of the company’s warden call and TECs portfolio across housing associations, care providers, and local authorities. You'll take a consultative approach—assessing existing systems, designing innovative replacements or upgrades, and providing compliant, future-ready solutions that align with your clients' evolving needs. You’ll work with a technically strong and supportive team that believes in doing the right thing for residents and service users. What You’ll Be Doing * Develop new business opportunities across social housing, supported living, and care environments * Conduct surveys and assessments on warden call, dispersed alarm, and TEC systems * Propose compliant upgrades and replacements tailored to the needs of vulnerable residents * Stay current with TSA and industry guidance to ensure systems meet required standards * Design solutions in line with current analogue to digital migration and interoperability trends * Create detailed quotations, tender responses, and proposals * Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution * Represent the business at sector events, client meetings, and site visits as a technical ambassador What You’ll Need * Proven experience in business development or technical sales within warden call, TECs, or life safety systems * Strong technical understanding of grouped schemes, dispersed alarms, and digital migration pathways * Familiarity with key manufacturers (e.g., Tunstall, Legrand, Jontek, Appello, Chiptech, Doro) * Up-to-date knowledge of TSA standards, CECOPS, and relevant regulatory frameworks * Strong client engagement, presentation, and communication skills * Ability to assess and propose compliant system designs for sheltered and extra care environments * Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and timelines * CRM and quoting software experience (SimPRO or similar is a plus) * Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regionally/nationally What’s on Offer * Salary: £35,000–£45,000 DOE * Monthly Car Allowance * Commission Scheme: Monthly earnings based on secured margin Benefits: * 22 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off * Company pension scheme * Private medical insurance and wellbeing support * Flexible working and remote options * CPD and development opportunities * Supportive, values-led team culture Why Apply?
