Job Description
Copello have partnered with an established engineering business, in the recruitment of a Technical Service Authority. We're looking for a skilled technical professional to provide expert oversight across critical systems in a regulated, safety-driven environment. This role ensures systems are safe, reliable, and meet evolving operational demands, from design to through-life support.
This role will be based in Hampshire, whilst also offering flexible hybrid working arrangements. Please note that candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead technical assurance, safety case reviews, and hazard analysis
* Oversee commissioning, acceptance, and integration of systems
* Monitor system performance and support lifecycle planning
* Manage change proposals and assess technical impacts
* Guide maintenance strategies, updates, and 3rd-party integration
* Provide expert advice across technical and operational teams
What You’ll Bring
* Background in engineering within regulated sectors (e.g., aviation, defence, transport)
* Degree or equivalent in engineering or related discipline
* Strong understanding of safety-critical systems
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
* Experience with ATM systems or similar high-integrity infrastructure
* Familiarity with standards such as CAP 670, ICAO Annex 10, or Def Stan 00-972
