We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established Building Services and Facilities Management business for a Technical Services Manager to join their growing team in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning, HVAC or Building Services professional looking to take the next step in their career. We're also keen to hear from experienced Technical Supervisors or HVAC Supervisors who are ready to progress into their first management role.

The Role

You'll be responsible for supporting the delivery of commercial maintenance contracts, providing technical guidance to engineering teams and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Working closely with clients, engineers and senior management, you'll oversee reactive maintenance, PPMs, remedial works and technical support across a varied portfolio of commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

  * Provide technical support and leadership to Air Conditioning and HVAC engineers.

  * Manage the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive works and remedial projects.

  * Conduct technical site visits and assist with complex fault finding.

  * Prepare quotations and remedial recommendations.

  * Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and industry standards.

  * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

  * Support contract performance, KPIs and service delivery.

  * Mentor and develop engineering teams.

  * Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers where required.

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong technical background within Air Conditioning, HVAC or Building Services who is passionate about delivering excellent service and supporting engineering teams.

Essential

  * Previous experience within Air Conditioning, HVAC or Mechanical Building Services.

  * Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.

  * Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

  * Full UK Driving Licence.

  * Strong communication and organisational skills.

Desirable

  * Previous experience as a Technical Services Manager, Service Manager or Technical Supervisor.

  * Experience within Facilities Management.

  * Experience producing quotations and managing remedial works.

  * F-Gas qualification or recognised HVAC qualifications.
