Overview
This is the opportunity to join a well-established and growing UK food manufacturer, based at one of their key production sites in East Yorkshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of food safety systems, compliance, and technical standards within a collaborative and forward-thinking technical function.
The Role
As Technical Services Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
* Managing site compliance with BRCGS and major retailer standards
* Overseeing HACCP systems, technical documentation, and internal audits
* Leading food safety and quality systems development
* Supporting and mentoring the wider technical team
* Preparing the site for external audits and customer visits
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives linked to quality and compliance
* Working closely with production, NPD, and site leadership
The Candidate
We’re looking for someone with:
* Strong experience in chilled or high-care food manufacturing
* A solid understanding of BRCGS, HACCP, food safety and retailer standards
* Previous experience in a similar technical systems, compliance or QA management role
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail
* Strong people and communication skills, with a collaborative approach
