Technical Support Engineer
 Location: Broughton (on-site)
 Contract Duration: November 2026
 Pay Rate:
£26.92 per hour PAYE / £36.00 per hour Umbrella 
Overtime: 25% uplift (Mon-Fri), 50% uplift (Sat-Sun)+ 20% shift uplift for shift work
35 hours per week Security Clearance: BPSS+ (to be arranged by the client)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Overview:
 We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide hands-on support within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring smooth production operations by addressing technical issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily lineside support for technical issues including non-conformities, concessions, and tooling.
Manage out-of-cycle work orders and escalate unresolved issues to relevant support functions.
Support capacity planning and production continuity.
Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
Ensure compliance with EH&S and quality standards on the shopfloor.
Assist with logistics coordination and prioritisation of rework materials.Experience Required:
Strong background in manufacturing or production environments.
Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive, systematic approach.
Effective stakeholder management and teamwork capabilities.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and SAP systems.Ready to apply?
