Technical Support Engineer - Power Control Systems - West Midlands - £40,000-£55,000 (DoE) + Bonus + Car Option

This is a customer-facing technical role supporting sales, engineering and product teams, providing pre-sales support, commissioning expertise and ongoing customer liaison across the UK and international markets.
What you NEED
HNC/D or Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or significant hands-on equivalent).
Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical support, applications, or commissioning role.
Strong knowledge of gensets, synchronisation, automation or PLC systems.
Confident communicator with excellent fault-finding ability and customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility for occasional UK/international travel.

Role & Responsibilities
Provide daily technical support and troubleshooting for configurable controllers and accessories.
Support customers and distributors via email, phone, and on-site visits.
Assist with application development, testing, and commissioning activities.
Deliver or support hands-on and online training for customers and internal teams.
Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to resolve customer issues.
Feed customer insights back into product development and continuous improvement.
