Technical Support Engineer. Leicester, £35,000
* Technical Support Engineer, Graduate Design Engineer, Customer Support Engineer or similar, this is a highly varied role working across different functions within an SME business.
* Excellent opportunity for a Degree educated or HNC / HND Qualified Engineer who wants to advanced their career within engineering & manufacturing.
* UK based manufacturing business, producing bespoke HVAC solutions going into the Construction & Building materials sectors. £10million turnover, growing and about to go through a phase of investment in their facility and machines.
* They are a very good employer for training and development, if you are enthusiastic and keen to advance your career then you will be well rewarded.
* Technically you will need knowledge of Mechanical Engineering & basic electrical principles, any Thermal/Heat Transfers & Fluid Dynamics would be great but not essential – they have the ability to train you up.
What we are looking for in this Technical Support Engineer jobs role
* Worked as a Technical Support, Applications Engineer, Graduate Engineer, Design Engineer or similar within an SME manufacturing business.
* You will need to be organised, accustomed to dealing with multiple projects and dealing with technical teams, customers, suppliers and comfortable wearing a ‘number of hats’ in a dynamic role.
* Mechanical Engineering background with basic electrical principles.
* Based locally to site LE5 in Leicester with visits to customer sites, you will require a full UK Driving license.
