Wireless CCTV Field Engineering Team is growing! As we continue to expand our Field Engineering team and have created a new opportunity to support the team. The Technical Support Specialist role will be based at our Rochdale HQ, providing remote technical assistance to engineers in the field.

Starting salary of £35,000, increasing to £37,000 within 6 months.
Role Overview:
The role of Technical Support Specialist is to provide technical assistance to the Engineers and Quarantine and identify areas for development and training requirements through reviewing failed and repeated visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance to the Engineers and Quarantine
Provide technical assistance and support to the Operations Department
Assess if a service visit needs to be completed or if the problem can be fixed remotely
Review off-plan surveys and liaise with RAM accordingly
Review engineer sign-off paperwork and provide feedback on how improvements can be made
Review WCCTV products remotely and identify improvements
Review ancillary equipment being installed and provide feedback
Review failed visits, identify process improvements and any training requirements
Review repeat visits, identify process improvements and any training requirements
Identify root cause for swapping WCCTV products, identify process improvements and any training requirements
Prepare reports and provide feedback to assist the Department in increasing efficiencies
Review installation maps, including walk tests

Your Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
At least 2 years of experience in a security role, with knowledge of installation and servicing CCTV systems is essential
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in CCTV Systems and related infrastructure.
Strong understanding of IP-based CCTV systems, including cabling, networking and software integration.
NVQ Level 3 in Security Systems is desirable
Full Clean UK Driving Licence required
