Hazlemere Group have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Surveyor to join the team. Job Type: Full Time, permanent Location: High Wycombe, HP12 3PR Salary: Competitive Working Hours: 40 hours per week 8-5pm About Us: Hazlemere are the leading installer of orangeries, conservatories, garden rooms, glazed extensions, living spaces and aluminium windows and doors throughout the home counties.               Technical Surveyor Purpose of the Role Hazlemere are looking for a Technical Surveyor to be Hazlemere’s customer-facing technical surveyor for both new build and refurbishment orders. The Technical Surveyor will be responsible and fully accountable for leading our enabling works from technical verification to order validation and realisation prior to order intake to our production facility both on time and within budget. There may be a requirement to work away from home in remote locations as needed. Technical Surveyor - Key Responsibilities: - Site Surveys: Conducting on-site inspections to assess existing windows, doors, glazing, and structures or other building items as needed - Measurements: Accurately measuring and recording data for new windows and doors, curtain wall or other building items as needed - Problem Identification: Identifying site-specific issues and recording them on the survey for later analyse to ensure technical verification of the order - Compliance: Ensuring compliance with building regulations, industry standards in line with the company procedures and contractual requirements - Order Validation: Producing drawings and schedules to ensure customer sign off prior to onward  production and buying scheduling - Technical Expertise: Understanding and interpreting technical drawings and specifications - Budget: Ensuring the budgeted cost meets both company and client’s requirement - Time: Ensuring all critical paths are on time or extended by consent of the customer or company agreed timescales Technical Surveyor - You: - Minimum 5 years proven experience in window surveying, glazing, or a related industry in a similar role - NVQ Level 3 in window surveying, CSCS gold card - Strong knowledge of commercial glazing systems, building regulations, and industry standards - Physical ability: Climb, kneel, crouch, reach - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - Proficiency with IT tools and software for data recording and management including Auto Cad - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently - Full UK driving license Technical Surveyor - Benefits: - Company vehicle - 22 days holiday - Pension scheme after probation - Health cash plan - Employee incentives - Employee of the month - Hybrid working options - Subsidised vending machine - Social events - Referral schemes - Staff discount - Big birthday/Long term service To submit your CV for this Technical Surveyor opportunity click ‘Apply’ now
