Automotive Technical Trainer in Needed in Shropshire
Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: £29,000 to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week
Holidays: 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidaysSeeking a dedicated Technical Trainer to deliver high-quality training to automotive apprentices, ensuring they gain the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to achieve their Apprenticeship Standard. Key Responsibilities as a Automotive Technical Trainer:
Deliver training on the automotive Apprenticeship Standard, including skills, knowledge, and behavioural components.
Coordinate off-the-job and on-the-job training with colleagues and managers.
Develop and update training materials and courses.
Ensure efficient use of resources with a focus on environmental sustainability.
Conduct timely assessments of apprentices' practical and theoretical work.
Provide constructive feedback to apprentices, helping them to improve.
Collaborate with the Learner Support Department to integrate maths and English into technical training.
Mentor apprentices, supporting their personal development and helping them reach their potential.
Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with apprenticeship programme requirements.What's required from you as a Automotive Technical Trainer:
Appropriate level of occupational competence.
Level 3 Qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
Full UK Driving License.
First Aid at Work Qualification (or willingness to obtain).
