Our client is currently seeking a Technical Trainer - (Marine Electronic Controls & Diagnostic),They're aimed at modernising maritime training, based in Gosport. This is a unique opportunity to mentor and train the next generation of marine engineers, employing your professional expertise without the need for prior teaching experience.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering training in Marine Control Systems and Diagnostics
Supporting departmental tasks within your skill set as required
Maintaining and updating training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance
Assessing student coursework and providing constructive feedback on performance
Ensuring trainee welfare and progression throughout the training delivery
Following all security, health, safety, and environmental procedures, while maintaining your own professional development records
Job Requirements:
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Proficiency in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace
Proven experience in Electrical and Electronic Engineering principles
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
Level 3 Teaching Qualification / Train The Trainer Course or equivalent
Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian engineering environment
