Job Description

Job Title: Technician Engineer
Pay Rate: £15.85 per hour (PAYE) or £21.51 per hour (umbrella)

Location: Deeside
Contract Type: 6-month fixed-term, 5 Days a week 

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician Engineer to join our team for a 6-month assignment. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair and overhaul of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to high standards while complying with legislative and organisational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Repair and maintain electronic and electro-mechanical systems.

Overhaul equipment in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensure all work meets legislative and organisational standards.

Work may cover one or more of the following areas:

Avionics systems

Maritime systems

Communications systems

Navigation systems

Weapons systems

Cable and test box manufacture

Skills & Experience Required:

Experience with electronic and electro-mechanical systems.

Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.

Strong attention to detail and compliance with safety standards.

Problem-solving skills and a practical approach to technical challenges.

Must be able to pass BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance
