VEHICLE TECHNICIAN 
Location: Basingstoke 
Salary: Up to £38,000 Basic + Bonus OTE £45,000+ 
Hours: Monday to Friday 
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Looking for a Vehicle Technician role with no weekend work and earning potential of £45,000+? 
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic to join a busy and professional dealership workshop in Basingstoke. 
With a basic salary of up to £38,000, bonus earning potential taking your OTE to £45,000+, and a Monday to Friday working week with no weekends, this role offers a brilliant combination of earning potential and work-life balance.

THE ROLE 
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll work as part of a skilled workshop team carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard. 
Your responsibilities will include: 
·Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work 
·Completing MOT tests in line with DVSA standards 
·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using current diagnostic equipment 
·Carrying out repairs efficiently and accurately 
·Working towards productivity and efficiency targets 
·Ensuring work is completed right first time 
·Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service 
·Completing job cards and associated workshop documentation accurately 
·Working collaboratively with the wider workshop and aftersales team 
  
ABOUT YOU 
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician with: 
·NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent 
·A valid MOT Tester Licence 
·Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic 
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability 
·Experience using modern diagnostic equipment 
·A proven ability to deliver high-quality, right-first-time repairs 
·The ability to work towards productivity and efficiency targets 
·Excellent communication and teamwork skills 
·A flexible and customer-focused approach 
·Full UK Driving Licence
