Job Description
Our client is a reputable distributor of medical equipment. They are currently looking to recruit an Assembly Technician/Warehouse Operative.
Short term contract : 4 months minimum.
Hours : Monday - Friday @ 8.00am - 4.30pm.
£13 per hour @ 37.5 hours paid ( 1 hour unpaid break)

Job Role: Assembly Technician/Warehouse Operative
Job Description:
* to assemble external defibrillator cabinets using the components, tooling and documentation provided
* to assemble medical manikins using the components, tooling and documentation provided
* to perform the warehouse pick, pack and despatch operation
Main Responsibilities:
* for the assembly of defibrillator cabinet and medical manikins
* be fully familiar with the assembly operations required to build the different types of products
* understand how customer demand for assemblies is converted into built, finished products
* ensure the consumption of the assembly componentry is performed in line with the current replenishment procedures (currently max/min and 2-bin)
* completing the assembly build sheet to record product compliance
* ensure the work are is always left clean, tidy and ready for production
* be fully familiar with the warehouse pick, pack and despatch operation
Qualifications Required
* educated to at least O level standard
* fluent in English (read and write)
Additional Requirements
* Organised and Logical
* Attention to detail
* Hands On
* Good time management
* Ability to work effectively with others
* IT would be advantageous to have :
* Previous mechanics or engineering experience
* Previous warehouse or logistics experience
* Previous reach truck/fork lift truck experienceBefore You Apply
