Are you a Technology Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of makers and builders?
We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join a DT department this September within a fantastic school on the Fylde Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school with a real commitment to high-quality design and technology education.
What you'll be doing:
Teaching Resistant Materials and Construction across KS3 and KS4.
Delivering engaging and practical lessons that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills.
Supporting students in coursework and project development, especially those pursuing vocational pathways.
Contributing to a well-resourced and collaborative DT department.
What we're looking for:
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism or strong experience in Resistant Materials and/or Construction.
Someone with a hands-on approach who can bring real-world skills and industry knowledge into the classroom.
A team player who is passionate about helping students succeed both academically and practically
Experience in delivering vocational qualifications (e.g. BTEC Construction) is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
