Technologist - Fresh Produce
Our client is looking for a proactive Technologist / Technical Executive to help maintain their high standards, support innovation, and strengthen relationships with their key customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop within one of the UK's most respected produce businesses - blending hands-on technical work with cross-functional collaboration, sustainability, and NPD.
What You'll Be Doing
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Managing customer technical systems - from specifications and audit responses to risk assessments.
Supporting supplier approvals and ensuring compliance with all legal, quality, and customer standards.
Collaborating with commercial and production teams on new product and packaging innovations.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and sustainability.
Preparing presentations, analysing technical data, and responding to customer queries.
Supporting ESG and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. What You'll Bring
Experience in a technical, quality, or compliance role within food, FMCG, or retail (fresh produce ideal!).
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicator - able to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint a must).
