Technology Teacher Needed in Manchester (Food Tech & Design Tech)
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Technology Teacher to join our secondary school in Manchester, bringing creativity and expertise to our Food Technology and Design Technology classrooms. Your day-to-day:

Planning and delivering lessons in Food Technology and/or Design Technology, tailored to different year groups.

Creating a safe, engaging classroom where students can explore and experiment.

Guiding students through practical projects, from cooking to designing and building.
*
Managing classroom behaviour using positive, school-approved strategies.
*
Assessing student work and sharing progress with colleagues and parents.
*
Ensuring tools, equipment, and ingredients are used safely and responsibly.
*
Following safeguarding and emergency procedures to keep students safe.
*
Keeping student information private and secure.
Who we’re after:

A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in Food Technology and/or Design Technology.
*
Someone creative, patient, and passionate about hands-on learning.
*
Able to adapt lessons for students of varying abilities and interests.
*
Comfortable managing practical classroom settings, like kitchens or workshops.
*
Committed to student safety and well-being.
