Salary: £110-£140 per day (depending on experience)
Empowering Learning are seeking a Technology Technician to work in a Secondary School based in Durham. The role is set to start in September and would be running for the full academic year and could turn into a permanent opportunity for the right Technology Technician.
Position Details:
Role: Technology Technician
Contract Type: 1 year Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)
Start Date: October 2025Duties:
Supervise pupils in and out of lessons, for example clubs and after school activities.
Prepare the use of specialist equipment and resources.
Manage and monitor stock and supplies and catalogue when required.
Create a productive working environment.
Maintain student records.
Create feedback for pupils that relates to their progress and achievements.
Invigilate exams and conduct routine marking of work.
Maintain a safe, organised and hygienic environment for all pupils.Responsibilities:
Be aware of policies and procedures that relate to child protection, health and safety and security of students.
Contribute to the overall work and ethos of the school.
Work alongside other professionals and support the classroom.
Be apart of training and learning activities.
