Job Description
Electrical Engineer
Trusted by Vodafone, Nokia & Ericsson we maximize network availability and boost KPIs for our customers. We implement both out-of-the-box solutions and carry out individual work elements to suit our clients’ specific requirements.
As an Electrical Engineer you will help to make sure that the products they are responsible for, work properly and that they meet the client’s needs.
Typical Deliverables:
• Installation of both AC and DC systems within the wireless telecommunications industry across the UK
• Test and Inspection of all works and produce certification
• Be able to complete certificates correctly and to a high standard
• Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in alignment with BS7671
• Be willing to travel
Skills & Experience:
• Demonstrate understanding of the mobile network and Power Supply.
• Experience in a Telecoms environment
• Good technical abilities
• Good knowledge of BS7671 and GN3
• Clear driving license
• Quick and logical thinking
• The ability to work well under pressure
• Be confident in taking decisions
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of MS office pack
• Pay attention to detail
Required Certificates:
• Full Qualified Electrician (C&G or Equivalent)
• 18th Edition Trained Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 qualification, C&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing Course (Periodic & Initial)
Desirable:
• City & Guilds 2396 – Electrical Design
• City & Guilds 2377 – PAT Testing,
• Climbing or Working at Height (Rooftop) Trained and Certified (including Medical Clearance, RF Awareness Trained, First Aid Trained)
