Job Description
Telehandler Operator – Haverhill
Location: Haverhill, Suffolk
Rate: £20.00 - £21.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Duration: Long-term contract – potential 12-month assignment
Start Date: ASAP
Anglian Recruitment is looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator for a long-term commercial and industrial construction project in Haverhill. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major project from an early stage and remain on site through to completion.
Please note: This role is working within a secure environment, and candidates may be required to undergo security clearance and vetting prior to or during the assignment.
Duties:
Operating a telehandler safely across a busy construction site
Loading, unloading and moving materials around site
Supplying trades with materials and equipment as required
Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting defects
Assisting with deliveries and site logistics
Supporting site teams whilst maintaining high health and safety standards
Requirements:
Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
Previous experience operating a telehandler on commercial or industrial projects
Willing and able to undergo any required security clearance or vetting
Full PPE
Good understanding of site health and safety
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
What We Offer:
£20.00 - £21.50 per hour depending on experience
Long-term work with the potential to remain for up to 12 months
Immediate start available, subject to any required clearance
Weekly pay
Opportunity to work on a large commercial and industrial project
