Job Description
Are you a highly skilled and CPCS-certified telehandler driver ready for a stable, long-term opportunity? We're actively seeking a dedicated professional to join our team on a thriving new build housing site right here in Burniston, Scarborough. What You'll Be Doing:
As our Telehandler Driver, you'll be instrumental in keeping our site running smoothly. Your core responsibilities will include:
Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently, moving crucial materials like bricks, timber, and other supplies across the site.
Ensuring timely and precise delivery of materials to various trades, directly supporting construction progress.
Managing incoming deliveries, including safe loading and unloading procedures.
Performing essential daily machine checks and minor maintenance to uphold safety standards.
Upholding strict site health and safety protocols at all times.
Communicating effectively with site management and fellow team members.
Required Skills / Experience:
Proven and experienced as a Telehandler Driver, ideally with a background in new build housing projects.
Holds a valid CPCS Telehandler ticket.
Possesses excellent operating skills and a keen awareness of their surroundings.
Reliable, punctual, and has a strong, proactive work ethic.
Committed to maintaining high safety standards on site.
A strong communicator who can work well as part of a busy team.
Full UK driving licence.
