Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Telehandler Driver to work with our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating the telehanlder to move, lift, and stack materials on a live construction site. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Operate telehandlers to transport materials and equipment around the site.
* Load and unload materials from lorries and other vehicles.
* Ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
* Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
* Assist with digging tasks as required, demonstrating versatility in job functions.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Proven experience operating telehanlder
* A valid commercial driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues and supervisors.
* Commitment to safety practices and procedures on site.
* Must have CPCS or NPORSBefore You Apply
