Job Description
Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading EPC Contractor in the UK Power Industry to recruit a Telehandler on a 3-month contract basis for their Open Cycle Gas Turbine project based in Immingham.
The Telehandler position comes with an hourly rate of £17 to £20 an hour.
Key skills and responsibilities:
Operate a telehandler to lift, move and position materials across the site.
Safely load and unload materials from trucks.
Transport materials to designated areas within the construction site.
Report to the Construction Manager on site for the EPC Contractor
Moving equipment such as Pipes, and cables to be installed on the plant.
Tasks are provided at the beginning of the shift and then workers are able to carry out their services as they see fit throughout the day under no supervision - i.e., site facilities - taking deliveries - loading delivery banksman, insulating pipes. Toilet maintenance checking all working plumbing.
Must hold a valid CPCS card
Must hold a valid CSCS card
Valid Telehandler Licence
Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Telehandler role:
Immingham.
£17 to £20 per hour (CIS)
Start date - August 2025
