About the Package
We offer a competitive basic salary of £25,000 plus an uncapped commission structure, with on-target earnings of approximately £37,400.
About the Role
This position is primarily focused on new business, involving cold calling, direct sales, and appointment setting, with some elements of lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct B2B cold calls, presenting our services professionally and highlighting their unique benefits
* Upsell solutions to existing customers
* Provide exceptional customer service
* Close deals effectively over the phone
* Handle inbound enquiries assigned to you
* Pre-qualify opportunities to ensure they meet our ‘business fit’ criteria and pass credit checks
* Monitor and report on market and competitor activity
* Maintain accurate prospect information in the CRM, updating daily with the sales support team
* Complete weekly KPI sheets
* Attend and contribute to fortnightly/monthly sales meetings
* Book appointments with decision-makers to present our service proposition
* Cross-sell additional services as appropriate
* Support administrative and operational teams in implementing new services
About You
* Tenacious, passionate, and positive with a competitive drive
* Motivated by earning strong commission and achieving targets
* Enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment
* Previous success in telesales, telemarketing, or appointment booking
* Experience in B2B sales (in person or over the phone)
* Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly
* Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* GCSE level in Maths and English (or equivalent)
* Knowledge of the waste or related industry is an advantage, but not essential
