Description
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations in the manufacturing department.
Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial reports.
Analyse manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing budget costs to actual costs.
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
Work closely with the manufacturing team to identify areas for financial improvement.
Participate in cross-functional projects and assist with other finance related tasks.
Support external auditors by providing accurate information and answering questions.Profile
A successful Accountant should have:
Ideally be working towards professional qualifications or be qualified by experience
Experience in a similar accountancy role
Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting processes.
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
Proficiency in ERP systems
