Facilities Management Team Leader

Haywards Heath

6 Month Contract | Potential Extension

£400-£450 per day
 Office-based

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Management Team Leader to join an established team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to extend.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FM professional who enjoys taking ownership, leading teams and ensuring high standards across a diverse property portfolio.

You will be responsible for overseeing the Facilities Management function, managing a team of approximately six people and ensuring the effective delivery of FM services across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Facilities Management function and wider FM team
Oversee the delivery of facilities services across a varied property portfolio
Ensure engineering, technical and statutory compliance requirements are met
Manage contractors, suppliers and procurement activities
Support FM governance, vetting processes and compliance procedures
Carry out regular site visits across a range of properties, ensuring standards are maintained
Provide guidance, support and leadership to the FM team 

About You:

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience working within Facilities Management
Previous experience managing an FM team, service or function
Strong knowledge of engineering, technical and statutory compliance
Experience managing contractors, suppliers and procurement processes
The ability to work across multiple sites and build strong working relationships
A proactive approach with excellent organisational and leadership skillsThis is an exciting opportunity to further your leadership skills ad career in Facilities management.
