Type: Temporary
Duration: 4 months
Hourly Rate: £23.50 - £26.00
Working Pattern: Full-Time (31.5 hours/week over 5 days)
Location: Blackfriars, Central London (4 minutes walk from City Thameslink station)
Hybrid Working Environment: Flexibility to work from home or the office as needed!💼 Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day financial operations for the charity and its trading subsidiary.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all accounts.
Process payroll and administer the pension scheme.
Monitor compliance with HMRC regulations, including VAT and tax returns.
Produce monthly management accounts and share insights with budget holders.
Maintain cash flow forecasting for the upcoming year.
Prepare management accounts for the October board meetings.
Provide support and guidance to the Finance Officer.
Handover smoothly to the incoming Finance Manager in October.🌈 What We're Looking For:
An accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in managing financial operations, planning, reconciliation, and reporting.
Strong knowledge of financial governance and accounting best practises.
Experience coordinating income and expenditure across multiple project budgets.
Proficiency in using and enhancing IT systems within a finance department.
