We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our clients’ operations on a temporary basis.

The job you’ll do

  * The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a range of production equipment, with a strong focus on hydraulic systems and electric furnaces.

  * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

  * Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.

  * Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.

  * Work with PLC-controlled machinery.

  * Ensure minimal downtime and respond to breakdowns.

  * Follow health & safety procedures.

  * Complete maintenance records.

About You

  * HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.

  * Have followed a recognised Engineering apprenticeship.

  * Health and Safety knowledge in an Engineering environment.

  * Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
