The working hours are 8am-5pm each day, with an unpaid lunch break. Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis and will require an immediate start - notice periods therefore cannot be accommodated. Temporary Office Manager Responsibilities This position will involve, but will not be limited to: Coordinating office activities and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. Managing administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining office supplies. Handling deliveries of equipment, including lifting and moving packages. Liaising with stakeholders at all levels to address operational needs promptly. Assisting with facilities management to maintain an engaging and well-organised workspace. Supporting team members with varied administrative requirements to foster a collaborative environment. Temporary Office Manager Rewards Competitive hourly rate of between £15-£18, depending on your skills and experience, with holiday pay included. Temporary Office Manager Experience Proven experience in office management. Familiarity with handling deliveries and logistics, ideally in a technical or scientific setting. Comfortable lifting and moving packages, with an understanding of health and safety considerations. Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) and collaboration tools such as Slack. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Calm under pressure and confident communicating with diverse stakeholders. Experience in high-tech or fast-scaling organisations is desirable.
