We’re seeking a Temporary Payroll Officer to join a dynamic organization and lead their payroll operations during a crucial period. This role is vital in ensuring smooth payroll processing across multiple UK entities, including international considerations, all while working closely with finance and HR teams. What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including pensions administration and benefits in kind (P11D)
Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and HMRC compliance requirements
Ability to reconcile payroll reports accurately and handle payroll-related inquiries
Proficiency with payroll software and systems
Excellent communication skills for liaising with HMRC and internal teams
Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
Experience:
Previous payroll officer or consultant roles, ideally within a similar-sized organization
Relevant certifications or training in payroll management or HRIS systems
At least 2-3 years of payroll processing experience in a matrix or multi-entity environmentOther Requirements:
Availability to start immediately and commit 2-3 days per week in the office
