Temporary Receptionist
Location: The Gorbals, Glasgow
Hourly Rate: £12.82
Duration: 25th November – 1st December
Training: One session between 18th–20th November (10am–12pm)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Anderson Knight are currently recruiting a Temporary Receptionist to support a busy front of house function for a well-established organisation based in The Gorbals, Glasgow. This is an ideal role for someone who is professional, friendly, and confident dealing with visitors and telephone enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
• Meet and greet visitors, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
• Answer and direct incoming calls in a polite and efficient manner.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
• Maintain reception area to ensure it remains tidy and presentable.
• Provide basic administrative support to internal teams as required.
What We’re Looking For
• Previous reception or front-of-house experience (desirable but not essential).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, approachable and well-presented.
• Reliable and able to commit to the full assignment dates.
• Confident using basic computer applications (email, calendars, etc.)
