Temporary Student Support Administrator Responsibilities This position will involve, but will not be limited to: Coordinating activities within the Student Support Team to enhance student welfare services, supporting the College’s objectives to foster a caring community. Implementing and reviewing support processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to student wellbeing initiatives. Collating evidence and data to inform support decisions and resource planning, helping the College meet its strategic goals. Assisting with the organisation of wellbeing arrangements and non-academic support for students, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment. Maintaining high standards of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive student information. Providing administrative support to the Academic Office, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and organising records. Working closely with academic and support staff, demonstrating flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive approach to meeting student needs. Temporary Student Support Administrator Rewards Competitive hourly rate between £18.68 - £20.33, paid weekly through PAYE, including holiday pay. The Company Our client is a distinguished education provider.  Temporary Student Support Administrator Experience Essentials Proven experience gained within academic administration, with a focus on wellbeing and confidentiality. Previous exposure working with sensitive information, in a welfare, wellbeing, or education setting. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively and calmly under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle difficult conversations tactfully. IT proficiency, especially with Windows-based applications such as Excel, and adaptability to learn new systems quickly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and good judgement. Location Based in Central Oxford, with excellent transport links. The role is office-based, with regular hours being Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
